1) No spyware or viruses are allowed or used by this site.
    Cookies must be enabled for the site to remember your preferences and settings.
2) Information provided by you is held in strict confidentiality.
3) Everyone must register with a verifiable email before they can post.
4) "Anti-Bot" protection is used during registration. 
The "Anti-Bot" feature produces a random image that looks like this:
It requires that you, the computer user, "manually" enter the random code - it proves to our system that a real live person is attempting to register.

5) Private Messaging using the HarborClassifieds system can be used with total privacy "user-to-user".  Outside non-registered users can send private messages to registered users but they must proved their email to the recipient.

6) HarborClassifieds uses PayPal as a secure site for handling credit card processes.

Anyone can freely browse the classified ads just like in a newspaper.  When you place an ad on HarborClassifieds it becomes open to the public.  Please use the same caution and common sense as if you were placing a newspaper ad.
